FAQs
An escape game is an adventure in which participants are placed in a room and must use the room’s elements, the group’s collective knowledge, and their wits to discover clues, solve puzzles, and escape and/or find the missing item within 60 minutes.
Players will be metaphorically “locked” in a room, and to fully enjoy the game, it is recommended that they remain inside the room throughout the allotted time. However, for safety reasons, the door is accessible throughout the game, and players may leave the room if necessary.
Each room is $34.50 per player. Check for a discount promo code.
Reservations are best. You can book online or by phone. It is recommended that players book as far in advance as possible to ensure their desired date and time are available. We allow walk-ins based on availability.
Yes, as the rooms are private, we can accommodate up to 10 players at check-in.
Unfortunately, tickets are non-refundable. However, if you need to reschedule due to an emergency, please call at least 24 hours in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
No, all bookings are private. Only the people you bring will be in the room.
Escape rooms have themes and props to set a mood, but they are not haunted houses intended to scare players.
Escape rooms require brain power, not physical strength. At most, the activity will involve squatting to look under an object or get a closer look at something. No climbing or heavy lifting is required.
Yes. Our crew will provide three hints upon request.
Escape rooms are challenging, so many players get close but do not escape in time. At the end of the allotted time, the game master will come for you and will, time permitting, explain the solution upon request. Please keep the solutions confidential so you do not spoil the experience for future players.
Absolutely! We are happy to accommodate single-room private experiences, multiple-room events, and team-building. Private events include exclusive use of the room (s) and can even be held outside regular business hours. We also have a Houston escape room for birthday parties that can be rented separately. Please contact us, and we will be happy to arrange a personalized event for your group.
Yes, our rooms are designed so that some of the puzzles cannot be solved by just one person. It’s an excellent way to improve communication between work and team friends for business team-building in Houston. And an excellent way of seeing different people’s skills in an unfamiliar place.
Plan to arrive 15-20 minutes before your scheduled fun experience. To avoid disruptions once the game has begun, we cannot permit late arrivals. There are no refunds for late arrivals, so please plan accordingly.
Games last one hour. In addition to the allotted time to play the game, players should expect a 15-20-minute briefing upon arrival to review the rules. Players may also stay for a short time after the game for team photos.
Participants should be at least 7 years of age. Children ages 7-14 MUST be accompanied by an adult (18 and over). Anyone under 18 must have the Waiver and Release of Liability form signed by their parent/legal guardian. People only pay for kids 7 and up. We get it, babysitting is hard to find right now, so kids 7 and under are free.
The use of electronic devices (or any outside tools) is highly discouraged. This is the time for you to spend with those in the room. Besides, AI won’t help with our puzzles anyway.
Yes, in the Lobby or outside of the rooms, with the door to the room completely closed.
Are the games good for kids? — Yep! We designed our games with families in mind. There are no jump scares, horror, or gore. However, kids under 15 may need help with logic skills to solve all the puzzles, so an adult is needed in the room with them to help them succeed and have a blast. How many kids can your place handle? – Each game is full of 6~8 players, so if you have more kids than that, they’ll have more fun if you form two teams and book both escape room games. The kids get kind of competitive and have great fun trying to get out of the room first. Do you have a place for cakes and presents? –You bet. Give us a ring to book our party room.
For an additional $100 per room, the Game Guide Upgrade includes an in-room guide and eliminates the need for an adult from your party to be present in the escape room. This means you can have 10 children in each escape room instead of 9 children plus a required adult. The Game Guide will also be assisting for an hour in the party room (handing out pizza, cutting cake, etc.).
If you would like your players to participate without an adult, you may need the Game Guide Upgrade! For a Spell Caster and/or Gateway party, players 12 and under must have an adult in the room or Game Guide Upgrade. For an Endurance and/or Aurora party, players 13 and under must have an adult or Game Guide Upgrade!
